Delivery Manager

About the project

At STX Next we are looking for a Delivery Manager who blends the strategic ownership of a Delivery Lead with hands-on execution - taking full accountability for portfolio health while directly leading key delivery projects, as the bridge between client strategy, business growth, and technical execution.

Your responsibilities

• Direct delivery & governance - hands-on management of key software projects, ensuring quality, scope control, and Agile best practices.
• Portfolio ownership - manage the health and profitability of your assigned client portfolio.
• Client partnership & strategy - build trust-based relationships with international clients and lead Quarterly Business Reviews.
• Business growth & pre-sales - partner with Sales on expansion plans, upsell/cross-sell, and late-stage deal pipelines.
• Al & operational innovation - introduce Al-assisted delivery practices, metrics, and automation to boost margins.
• Strategic alignment - partner with Heads and executive leadership on overall business goals.
• Operational excellence & escalations - primary escalation point, implementing swift risk mitigation.
• Team leadership - coordinate engineering leads and cross-functional teams for delivery excellence.

Our requirements

• 5+ years in IT services management, combining hands-on delivery with strategic client ownership.
• Fluent English (C1/C2) is a must, plus fluent Polish, written and spoken.
• Dual mindset - able to switch between high-level management and granular execution.
• Commercial & financial acumen - T&M, Fixed Price, and Managed Services engagement models.
• Modern tech & SDLC awareness - cloud-native environments and Al-driven delivery tooling.
• Cross-functional collaboration - strong background partnering with Sales and Head-level leadership.
• Extreme ownership & grit - accountability, analytical thinking, and confidence under pressure.
• Stakeholder management - bridging technical delivery teams and C-level business executives.

What we offer

• Remote-First Flexibility: Stay where you feel most productive. Here’s a remote-first environment with the freedom to set your own schedule. Whether you need a midday break or a specific routine, we trust you to manage your time and deliver results while maintaining your personal well-being.
• Cafeteria & Health Membership: We provide access to premium medical packages which include Medicover Sport. You can also choose a MultiSport card and group insurance options. All these packages are managed through Cafeteria System, giving you the autonomy to choose exactly what fits your lifestyle.
• Collaboration Mindset: Facing a complex challenge? At STX Next, you collaborate with true enthusiasts and experts who prioritize professional support and direct, honest feedback.
• Tech Events: Gain access to specialized knowledge through bootcamps, Strategic Skills Labs, and Tech Knowledge Hubs focused on AI, Data, and Cloud. Beyond our internal webinars and technical materials, we host branded meetups like DevDuck and PAIDA.
• In-person Networking: We support autonomy by enabling project groups to set up their own internal meetings in a location they prefer, often in our Poznań or Gliwice offices, which are great for coordination and building professional relationships. We also take a break from our screens twice a year for our Summer and Winter events.
• Professional Toolkit: Prior to your first day as a NEXTer, you will receive a top-tier equipment setup: laptops, monitor, and peripherals tailored to your needs and specific project role.
