Why this role?
We’re building a SaaS platform that helps companies navigate complex regulatory requirements, using AI for document analysis and regulatory search.
You’ll own product features from idea to production: designing the backend logic, shipping it, deploying it and making sure it works for real customers. We care more about how you think and what you’ve shipped than about which language you write in.
What we offer
- Real ownership of a product that’s growing internationally
- AI features that solve actual business problems, not demos
- A small team where your ideas turn into decisions quickly
- A modern stack, with AI-assisted development as standard
- international environment
- Clear career path
- no micromanagement
Recruitment process
- HR interview
- Technical session CTO
- Final meeting & offer
Wymagania
Must-haves
- 2–3+ years of commercial backend development, in any modern backend language and framework (e.g. Node.js/NestJS, Python/FastAPI/Django, Go, Kotlin, C#/.NET, Java/Spring Boot)
- Experience designing REST APIs and working with relational databases (PostgreSQL preferred)
- Understanding of authentication and authorization (OAuth2, JWT)
- Practical experience with Docker, Git, CI/CD and Linux
- A “you build it, you ship it” mindset: you’ve taken features to production and supported them there
- Comfortable using AI coding tools (Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, etc.) and able to critically review AI-generated code
- Good English for daily communication
Nice-to-haves
- Experience in a product company or startup, working on your own product rather than client projects
- Previous experience as a tester (QA) or in a product role: you understand quality and the user’s perspective
- Integrating LLM APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic) into real products
- Azure experience (App Service, Blob Storage, Container Registry)
- Multi-tenant SaaS experience
- Observability tools (Application Insights, OpenTelemetry)
- Security awareness (OWASP)
- Some React / TypeScript
- Java / Spring Boot (our current backend stack)
Tech stack
PostgreSQL Docker GitHub Actions Azure OpenAI API Java 21 / Spring Boot 3 React 18 TypeScript
Zakres obowiązków
- Build the product (mostly backend)
- Design and build backend services and APIs that power the platform
- Shape data models and database structure (PostgreSQL)
- Work with a multi-tenant architecture, where many customers share one platform securely
- Pick up frontend tasks when a feature needs it (React + TypeScript)
- Ship it and run it
- Take features all the way to production, not just to “merged”
- Improve CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Docker) so releases are fast and safe
- Work with our cloud setup (Azure) and keep deployments reliable
- Use monitoring and logs to spot and fix issues early
- Work on AI features
- Integrate and improve LLM-based features (OpenAI API) for document analysis and smart search
- Help turn AI experiments into stable, production-ready functionality
- Think like a product engineer
- Turn business needs into clear technical tasks, and ask “why” when something doesn’t make sense
- Talk to users and the team about what actually works in the product
- Suggest better tools, architecture and workflows
