JD Edwards Developers

Introduction & Summary:

The JD Edwards (E1) Developers will be instrumental in establishing an ERP Development Center of Excellence. With a focus on process redesign, continuous improvement initiatives, and high-quality delivery, candidates will need strong expertise in the E1 development lifecycle and applications, along with a minimum of 8 years of experience in JD Edwards.

Main Responsibilities:

• Engage in the development and enhancement of JD Edwards applications.

• Participate in project execution and process improvement initiatives.

• Support Incident Management and ITIL processes.

• Ensure adherence to best practices and governance standards.

• Contribute to quality assurance efforts and KPI tracking.

• Collaborate closely with internal leads and provide technical ownership.

• Drive independent task management, ensuring timely delivery.

Key Requirements:

• Minimum 8 years of experience in JD Edwards (E1).

• Strong experience with the E1 development lifecycle.

• Solid understanding of E1 applications.

• Proven expertise in:

  • FDA (Form Design Aid)

  • RDA (Report Design Aid)

  • NER (Named Event Rules)

  • BSSV (Business Services)

  • Table and view design

• Experience with at least 2 JD Edwards functional modules: Finance, Distribution, Manufacturing, Sales.

• Proficient in C programming.

• Experience with Orchestration Studio and scripting languages (e.g., Groovy).

Nice to Have:

• Experience in handling Requests for Change (RFCs).

• Ability to focus on minor enhancements to the E1 platform.

Other Details:

This role is based at the Porto office, working onsite 4 days a week and 1 day remote. Engagement is full-time. Daily time registration is expected, and fluent English is required for effective communication and collaboration. Position based in Porto, Portugal, with a mix of onsite and remote work. Candidates must be local or willing to relocate from Brazil.
