🚀 About the project

We are looking for an experienced Senior QA Engineer to join a project for a US-based healthcare technology company.

The project involves a mature, multi-tenant SaaS platform used by healthcare facilities. The ecosystem includes a web application, native iOS and Android apps, and integrations with hospital systems.

Our team is taking over the ongoing development of the platform, and you will play a key role in establishing and maintaining its quality standards.

You will gradually take ownership of QA activities from the client's team, develop a reliable test automation approach, and help ensure that releases meet the expected quality standards.

The development team uses Claude Code as part of its daily engineering workflow.

🧠 Your responsibilities

• take over and continuously improve the existing QA processes in cooperation with the client's team

• define and maintain the test strategy, test plans, and regression testing approach for web, API, and mobile applications

• design, implement, and maintain automated test frameworks and test suites

• develop automated tests for web interfaces and REST APIs

• integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines

• perform manual and exploratory testing, particularly for native iOS and Android applications

• test mobile applications on real devices, including push notifications and test builds

• coordinate release testing, assess quality risks, and provide QA sign-off before releases

• collaborate with developers to identify defects, improve testability, and prevent recurring issues

• communicate directly with US-based product, QA, and engineering stakeholders

• proactively report quality risks and recommend improvements to testing practices

🧩 Must haves

• minimum 8 years of commercial experience in software QA

• strong hands-on experience in test automation, including designing and maintaining automation frameworks

• experience automating web UI tests using tools such as Playwright or Cypress

• experience with API test automation using tools such as pytest, Postman, or REST Assured

• practical experience testing native iOS and Android applications on real devices

• experience testing mobile-specific functionality, including push notifications and app store test builds

• ability to design and maintain test strategies and regression suites for large, mature applications

• experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines

• ability to combine automated testing with effective manual and exploratory testing

• experience supporting release processes, assessing quality risks, and making release-readiness recommendations

• ability to independently organize QA activities and take responsibility for product quality

• strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

• confidence in working directly with international clients, communicating risks, and constructively challenging decisions when necessary

• English at C1 level or higher

• availability for afternoon meetings (CET/CEST) with the US-based team

✨ Nice to have

• experience testing healthcare or medical software

• experience with Bluetooth or BLE beacon-based systems

• knowledge of mobile test automation tools such as Appium, XCUITest, or Espresso

• experience with Python and pytest

• practical experience using Claude Code or other AI-assisted development tools for test creation and maintenance

• familiarity with regulated environments, including HIPAA, test traceability, and documentation

• experience testing HL7 / FHIR integrations or multi-tenant SaaS platforms

• experience with performance testing tools such as Locust
