Project description:

On behalf of a leading international manufacturer of premium kitchen and household appliances, we're building an AI-ready internal platform designed to standardize and simplify software delivery across the organization.

You will join a team of experienced professionals shaping the platform vision, defining engineering best practices, and enabling hundreds of developers (and increasingly AI-powered workflows) to deliver production-ready solutions faster and with greater confidence.

Our client combines the agility of dedicated product teams with a strong focus on quality, user experience, and product excellence. Teams work closely together, respond quickly to customer feedback, and continuously evolve their products while maintaining high engineering standards.

The culture is built on ownership, transparency, and collaboration. Communication is open, hierarchy is kept to a minimum, and everyone is encouraged to contribute ideas regardless of role or seniority. Learning from challenges and improving together is valued far more than assigning blame.

This is a fully remote role within Poland. Occasional business travel to Germany or Zurich (typically once per quarter for 3-4 days) is expected and provides an opportunity to collaborate with stakeholders and participate in strategic workshops.

Main responsibilities:

• Own the end-to-end reliability, scalability, and performance of the platform

• Design, build, and maintain cloud infrastructure and Kubernetes environments

• Drive platform improvements in collaboration with engineering and business stakeholders

• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines and GitOps practices

• Enable teams through developer support, mentoring, and best practices

• Ensure strong observability (monitoring, logging, tracing) and proactive incident prevention

• Lead incident response, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement

• Define and manage SLIs, SLOs, SLAs, and error budgets

• Optimize cloud costs while maintaining performance and security standards

• Contribute to platform strategy, architecture, and governance

• Promote a culture of continuous improvement and knowledge sharing
