About the project

As a Software Engineer, you will help modernize the financial reporting platform used by finance, management and investment teams to monitor business performance. You will develop scalable data pipelines, ETL processes and reconciliation workflows to ensure the accuracy, quality and reliability of financial data. The role also involves building analytical applications, reporting tools and user interfaces that turn complex financial information into actionable insights. You will work closely with finance specialists and other engineers, taking ownership of solutions throughout the entire development lifecycle, from design to production support. This position combines software engineering, data processing, analytics and front-end development.

Your responsibilities

• Modernize and improve the financial reporting platform used by finance, management and investment teams.
• Design and develop scalable data pipelines, ETL processes and reconciliation workflows.
• Build analytical applications, reporting tools and visualizations that support financial analysis and decision-making.
• Develop validation and adjustment tools to improve reporting accuracy, strengthen controls and reduce manual work.
• Collaborate with finance, valuation and technology teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Take ownership of features throughout the development lifecycle, including design, implementation, testing, deployment and ongoing maintenance.
• Analyze data flows and calculation logic to identify gaps and improve reporting processes.
• Create intuitive user interfaces that help stakeholders investigate financial trends, exceptions and performance drivers.
• Support production systems, monitor their performance and continuously improve platform reliability.

Our requirements

• 7+ years of software development experience and a background in Computer Science or a related technical field.
• Strong experience with data engineering, analytics, ETL processes and data reconciliation using T-SQL, Python and Airflow.
• Solid software development skills in Python or C#.
• Experience designing, developing and maintaining end-to-end systems, including coordinating with users and business stakeholders.
• Knowledge of front-end development and data visualization using JavaScript and React.
• Ability to build reliable systems with a strong focus on numerical accuracy, data quality and operational stability.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• High ethical standards and a professional approach to working with sensitive business and financial data.
