About the project

Join NATEK as an Azure & Microsoft 365 Infrastructure Consultant and become part of a consulting team supporting a large-scale infrastructure stabilization initiative in Gdańsk. The project focuses on ensuring the reliability, performance, and continuous improvement of a Microsoft-based environment, with a strong emphasis on Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD), Microsoft Azure, networking, identity services, and Microsoft 365. You will play a key role in resolving complex technical challenges, enhancing operational efficiency, and driving automation initiatives that strengthen the overall IT ecosystem.

Your responsibilities

• Deliver advanced L3 support for critical and complex infrastructure-related incidents across Azure, Microsoft 365, AVD, networking, identity, and Windows environments.
• Investigate and troubleshoot technical issues, coordinating diagnostics, escalations, and resolution activities while ensuring adherence to SLA commitments.
• Conduct in-depth root cause analysis (RCA) and implement long-term corrective actions to prevent recurring incidents.
• Monitor and analyze system performance, alerts, and security events using tools such as Azure Monitor, Microsoft Defender, and KQL-based investigations.
• Identify recurring operational challenges, infrastructure bottlenecks, and areas requiring process improvements.
• Propose and document opportunities for automation, optimization, and service enhancement across the IT landscape.
• Develop and maintain automation solutions utilizing PowerShell, Azure Automation, Logic Apps, Azure Functions, Intune, and Microsoft Graph API where applicable.
• Support Infrastructure-as-Code practices through Terraform and CI/CD-based deployment approaches.
• Create, maintain, and improve technical documentation, operational procedures, runbooks, validation plans, and rollback processes.
• Collaborate with technical teams and business stakeholders, providing clear communication and maintaining high-quality ticket documentation.
• Actively contribute to increasing the stability, scalability, and operational maturity of the Microsoft environment.

Our requirements

• Proven experience in L3 infrastructure support within enterprise-scale environments.
• Strong hands-on knowledge of Microsoft Azure, Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD), Microsoft 365, and hybrid identity solutions.
• Solid understanding of networking concepts, including troubleshooting connectivity, security, and performance-related issues.
• Experience performing advanced incident diagnostics, problem management, and root cause analysis.
• Hands-on expertise in PowerShell scripting and operational automation.
• Practical experience with Azure Monitor, Microsoft Defender, and KQL queries.
• Familiarity with change management, IT operational processes, and working within SLA-driven environments.
• Experience creating and maintaining technical documentation and operational runbooks.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a continuous improvement mindset.
• Ability to work independently and effectively cooperate with crossfunctional teams and stakeholders.
• Fluent English communication skills.

Optional

• Experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure deployment and configuration management.
• Hands-on experience with Azure Automation, Logic Apps, Azure Functions, Intune, and Microsoft Graph API.
• Relevant Microsoft certifications related to Azure, Microsoft 365, or security.
• Previous involvement in infrastructure modernization, optimization, or large-scale transformation projects.
• Polish language skills.
