Threat Identification & Prioritization

Summary

We are looking for a Cyber Security Consultant to support the organization's security posture through vulnerability management and assessment. The consultant will identify, analyze and prioritize security threats in order to mitigate risks affecting the organization.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct vulnerability assessments and manage vulnerability remediation processes.

• Use vulnerability scanning tools to identify security weaknesses.

• Evaluate the impact and severity of vulnerabilities based on the common threat landscape.

• Collaborate with stakeholders to explain vulnerability risks and business impact.

• Research and analyze vulnerabilities using public sources and security bulletins.

• Troubleshoot basic network and connectivity issues.

Must have:

• Solid understanding of cybersecurity principles and risk management.

• Proficiency in vulnerability scanning tools (Qualys, Tenable Nessus or similar).

• Familiarity with CVSS and vulnerability prioritization methodologies.

• Good grasp of Windows and Linux operating systems.

• Basic command line skills in Linux and PowerShell.

Nice to have:

• Experience in security operations or infrastructure support.

• Familiarity with security frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001 or similar).

• Relevant security certifications (CompTIA Security+ or similar).

• Work Model: Hybrid - 3 times per week form the office

• Location: Warsaw, Gdańsk, Gydnia or Łódź

• Rate: up to 130 pln/h, B2B contract
