Platform Engineer

🛡 The project

Join an engineering team at one of the world's leading financial institutions, based in Wrocław, that is building a brand-new in-house platform for electronic communications surveillance.

The platform processes large volumes of unstructured data, generates model-driven alerts, and gives reviewers a user interface to assess and resolve them. It's a strategic, regulatory-critical system, built from the ground up by small, autonomous agile pods that own what they deliver.

⚙️ What you'll be working on

• Automating the boring stuff: turning recurring operational and support tasks into scripts and workflows using Unix tools, Bash and Azure services

• Keeping production healthy: monitoring, troubleshooting and restoring applications fast, then fixing the root cause so the problem doesn't come back

• Building data pipelines: developing and maintaining Azure-based data workflows and integrations with PostgreSQL and Azure Data Factory

• Raising reliability: improving observability, resilient design, runbooks and production-readiness standards

• Delivering it properly: secure, maintainable, compliant solutions that meet both functional and non-functional requirements

• Working smarter with AI: using AI-assisted tools where they help, with quality, security and human review built in

✅ What you bring

• 6+ years of professional experience and a Bachelor's degree

• PostgreSQL: strong SQL, troubleshooting and day-to-day operational support

• Unix and Bash: practical scripting for automation, deployments and operations

• Azure Data Factory: data integration, orchestration and pipeline monitoring

• DevOps: source control and CI/CD pipelines, ideally on GitLab

• Automation and incident diagnosis across distributed applications

• Elasticsearch and/or Cloudera experience

• Good English for daily teamwork

➕ Nice to have

• Java development experience

• Hands-on use of AI-assisted development tools for coding, testing, troubleshooting or documentation (valued, not required)
