Database Operations Support Specialist

Summary: The Database Operations Support Specialist oversees daily database operations, manages troubleshooting, and coordinates key infrastructure projects within the Regional IT Infrastructure team for Central Europe.

Project Details:

• Workload: full-time

• Contract: B2B

• Start Date: 11.2026

• Contract Length: till the end of January 2027+ possible prolongation

• Working model: 2 days per week in the office in Skawina/ 3 days remote

Responsibilities:

• Monitor daily database health and analyse L2/L3 issues.

• Coordinate operating system migrations from Windows Server 2016 to 2022 and engine updates for Oracle, MS SQL Server, and PostgreSQL.

• Provide hands-on support for operational tasks.

• Collaborate with local business owners and operations teams to assess dependencies and ensure updates do not disrupt business applications.

• Provide database support across Central European sites in cooperation with regional server and infrastructure leads.

Must Haves:

• Mid-level experience in database operations.

• Strong hands-on knowledge of Oracle.

• Strong hands-on knowledge of MS SQL Server.

• Strong hands-on knowledge of PostgreSQL.

• Solid experience with Windows Server 2016/2022.

• Fluent English for communication in an international team.
