Manufacturo

Manufacturo powers operations for companies building satellites, fusion reactors, next-generation aircraft, and hypersonic vehicles. Companies such as Hermeus, Relativity Space, and Sierra Space rely on our platform to run complex manufacturing operations with greater control, traceability, and speed.

We are a SaaS company building software for some of the most advanced industrial programs in the world. The work we do has real-world impact, and the systems we support are complex, fast-moving, and mission-critical for our customers.

We are hiring a Software Engineer – Backend to join our product engineering organization and help us build, evolve, and scale Manufacturo’s SaaS platform. This is a role for someone with strong backend experience who enjoys solving complex business problems, working with data and APIs, and building reliable software for operational workflows.

The Role

As a Backend Developer at Manufacturo, you will work on a complex product used to manage manufacturing operations. Your main focus will be our core platform, with production at its center and close connections to planning, inventory, quality, and shopfloor workflows.

This is a backend-first, hands-on engineering role with real ownership. You will build product features, design APIs, model business logic and data structures, and contribute to the technical quality, maintainability, and reliability of the platform.

You will work closely with other engineers, product owners, testers, and UX/UI designers to understand business needs, clarify requirements, identify technical risks, and deliver practical solutions.

This role is a good fit for someone who can work independently, contribute to technical discussions, and make pragmatic engineering decisions without losing sight of long-term quality.

You should be comfortable working in a high-change environment where priorities can evolve, context changes quickly, and teams need to keep delivering value without compromising engineering standards.

What you’ll get in return

• Exciting project. We work with some of the most innovative companies that literally change the world. If space exploration excites you, then you will not feel bored with us.
• Hybrid working model: We value working in the office and at home, so we offer a hybrid working arrangement - 3 days a week from the office.
• Comprehensive healthcare including life insurance, and a Multisport Card.
• Impact. We give you an opportunity to work for an organization where you will have the ability to make an impact and ability to access and interact with the product owners, management team, and clients.
