Senior Veeva Vault RIM Consultant

Job Overview

We are seeking a Senior Veeva Vault RIM Consultant to lead migration and configuration activities for a large pharmaceutical client. The person in this role will act as a senior consultant and technical lead, guiding the team on migrating documents from legacy systems (for example, OpenText) into Veeva Vault RIM, designing and implementing workflows and configurations, and applying industry best practices for Veeva Vault migrations. Work will take place within an agile delivery framework.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate end-to-end document migration projects from legacy repositories (e.g., OpenText) to Veeva Vault RIM.

• Design, configure, and optimize Veeva Vault RIM workflows, lifecycles, metadata models, and security settings.

• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to implementation team members, ensuring consistent, high-quality configurations.

• Develop migration strategies and execution plans, including mapping, transformation, and validation steps.

• Collaborate with stakeholders from business, quality, and IT to align requirements and ensure compliance with regulatory expectations.

• Document design decisions, configuration details, migration scripts, and runbooks for ongoing support and knowledge transfer.

• Participate in agile ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning, backlog refinement, and retrospectives.

• Identify and recommend improvements based on industry best practices for Veeva Vault RIM implementations and migrations.

Qualifications

• Proven experience configuring Veeva Vault RIM, including workflows, lifecycles, document types, and security models.

• Hands-on experience migrating documents from legacy systems (such as OpenText) into Veeva Vault RIM, including mapping and data transformation.

• Track record as a senior consultant or technical lead on Veeva Vault implementations, with the ability to mentor others.

• Good understanding of industry best practices for document migration and RIM configuration in regulated environments.

• Familiarity with pharmaceutical regulatory and quality expectations related to regulated content management.

• Experience working in agile teams and collaborating across cross-functional stakeholders.
