Senior Java Developer (f/m)

Detailed task description:

• Working as a Senior Java Developer with Apache Kafka in the Fraud Management domain

• Collaborating with other developers in a Scrum team

• Contributing to solution design and application maintainability

• Building and maintaining near real-time data pipelines

• Working with Product Owners and stakeholders to clarify requirements

• Collaborating with engineers and documenting designs and technical solutions

Must-have knowledge and experience:

• Senior-level server-side Java development skills: Java, Spring Boot, Web Services, SOAP and REST

• Experience with performance analysis, profiling and optimization

• Strong knowledge of microservices and integration patterns

• Experience with messaging technologies, particularly Apache Kafka

• Good knowledge of relational databases and SQL, e.g. Oracle

• Knowledge of NoSQL databases and Redis is a plus

Nice-to-have knowledge and experience

• Experience with containerized applications running on Kubernetes

• Knowledge of AWS PaaS services, e.g. AWS Lambda
