About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Senior Java Full Stack Engineer to join our growing Data, Analytics and Reporting team within the Compliance Technology function. In this role, you will design, develop, deploy, and maintain scalable, secure, and cloud-native applications that support critical compliance and model-hosting platforms.

You will work closely with business stakeholders, architects, and global engineering teams to translate functional and technical requirements into high-quality software solutions. The ideal candidate combines strong Java and Spring Boot expertise with hands-on Azure cloud experience, sound architectural knowledge, and a commitment to clean code and engineering best practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze business and technical requirements and translate them into robust, scalable software solutions.

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain enterprise-grade applications and services using Java and Spring Boot.

• Build and integrate RESTful APIs, microservices, and cloud-native applications.

• Develop and maintain cloud solutions using Microsoft Azure services and related tooling.

• Apply clean code principles, SOLID principles, design patterns, and reusable software development practices.

• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and deployment processes to improve release quality and reliability.

• Monitor application performance, troubleshoot production issues, and continuously improve system availability, scalability, and security.

• Work with SQL databases, JPA, and data-access technologies to deliver efficient and reliable data solutions.

• Collaborate with frontend developers and contribute to UI development and rapid prototyping using React.js, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.

• Contribute to technical design, architecture discussions, code reviews, and engineering standards.

• Identify functional and non-functional requirements, assess their impact, and recommend appropriate technical solutions.

• Work collaboratively with global technology teams, business stakeholders, and cross-functional partners.

• Take ownership of deliverables throughout the software development lifecycle, from requirements analysis through production support.

Required Skills and Experience

• 7+ years of professional software development experience, with strong knowledge of the full software development lifecycle (SDLC).

• Strong hands-on experience with Java and Spring Boot.

• Practical experience designing and developing REST APIs, microservices, and enterprise applications.

• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure, preferably including:

  • Azure App Service and/or Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).

  • Azure Functions.

  • Azure Service Bus and/or Event Hubs.

  • Azure Key Vault.

  • Azure DevOps and CI/CD pipelines.

  • Azure Monitor and Application Insights.

  • Microsoft Entra ID and identity management.

• Strong SQL skills and experience with JPA and relational databases such as PostgreSQL or Azure SQL.

• Experience with Docker, containers, and cloud-native application development.

• Working knowledge of React.js, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.

• Good understanding of software design principles, system architecture, design patterns, and application security.

• Experience with unit testing, integration testing, debugging, and performance optimization.

• Familiarity with source control, automated builds, release management, and configuration management.

• Ability to analyze complex technical problems and deliver effective, maintainable solutions.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in enterprise or regulated environments, ideally within financial services, banking, or compliance technology.

• Exposure to data, analytics, reporting, or model-hosting platforms.

• Knowledge of event-driven architectures and asynchronous messaging.

• Experience with Kubernetes and cloud infrastructure best practices.

• Familiarity with observability, application monitoring, and production support processes.
