People Technology Senior Integrations Specialist

Join our R&D Tech Hub in Warsaw

We’re building a new R&D Tech Hub in Poland and are looking for people who want to make a real impact from day one. You’ll be part of a globally connected team, helping to shape the culture and ways of working at our new location. This is a hands-on role in a supportive environment, where collaboration, learning, and adaptability are key.

We value practical problem-solving, diverse perspectives, and people who take ownership. If you're ready to contribute to meaningful projects and help lay the foundation for a growing team, we’d like to hear from you.

The role

We are looking for an experienced People Technology Senior Integrations Specialist to join our HelloFresh People Technology team. This role represents the senior individual contributor level within the Integrations and Engineering discipline and is designed for specialists who can independently deliver complex technical solutions across our People Technology landscape.

Today, the role has a strong focus on Workday integrations and connected enterprise systems. Over time, the scope will increasingly extend across system-agnostic integrations, workflow automation, software and low-code development, and AI-enabled solutions. You will take end-to-end responsibility for designing, building, operating, and supporting reliable, secure, and scalable solutions across global environments, using the most appropriate technology for the problem rather than being limited to a single platform.

The role combines deep hands-on engineering with mature operational ownership. You will work across Workday, APIs, middleware and emerging engineering capabilities, and will contribute to automation, intelligent workflows and AI-enabled solutions where these create practical value. You will act as a senior point of expertise for incidents and changes, applying judgement to diagnose root causes, manage risk and drive permanent fixes. While you will not define the overall engineering architecture or platform strategy, you will contribute actively to technical standards, patterns, quality improvements and the evolution of the discipline.

Above all, we are looking for people who will make HelloFresh better. We believe there are many different ways of developing skills and we love diverse experiences! So even if you don’t “tick all the boxes” but think you’d thrive in this role, we would really like to learn more about you.

What you'll do

• Own the end-to-end lifecycle of complex integrations and technical solutions across Workday and connected systems, from design through to production support.

• Design, build, test and maintain solutions using tools such as Workday Studio, EIBs, APIs, middleware, orchestration and low-code capabilities where applicable.

• Build and improve workflow automation and AI-enabled solutions that reduce manual effort and enhance People Technology operations.

• Act as a senior escalation point for complex integration incidents, identifying root causes and implementing durable fixes.

• Ensure solutions meet requirements for data accuracy, security, performance and resilience, including during high-risk activity such as payroll or benefits processing.

• Partner with Functional, Product and Operations colleagues to translate business needs into practical engineering solutions.

• Contribute to engineering standards, integration patterns, reusable components and testing approaches.

• Mentor junior technical specialists and help raise capability across the team.

What you'll bring

• 5–8 years of experience in integrations, systems or software engineering, with hands-on responsibility for live enterprise solutions.

• Strong experience designing and supporting Workday integrations or equivalent enterprise HR platforms.

• Solid knowledge of APIs, REST/SOAP, XML, JSON, middleware, orchestration, scripting and encryption mechanisms.

• Experience with software engineering practices including version control, automated testing and technical documentation.

• Familiarity with workflow automation and AI-assisted development in an enterprise environment.

• Strong understanding of enterprise data models, security, privacy and compliance requirements for sensitive employee data.

• Ability to work independently on complex problems, applying sound judgement and escalating architectural concerns when needed.

• Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders.

• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

• Fluency in English required; additional languages a plus.
