Job Description

As Product Owner for SEO & Product Content Platforms within the Master Data Management Domain, you will own and evolve the platforms, data services, and backend capabilities that enable customers, search engines, AI-powered experiences, and internal business teams to discover and understand zooplus products efficiently and at scale.

You will drive the product vision, roadmap, and backlog across internal admins for SEO content, customer reviews, media management, and faceted navigation, as well as discoverability-related master data capabilities, including SEO backend products, and AI supported enrichment and optimization.

Working in an agile environment, you will deliver scalable solutions that improve product discoverability, operational efficiency, data quality, and self-service capabilities for SEO, Content, Shop Management, and other business stakeholders while building the foundation for future AI-powered customer experiences. This aligns with the team's current focus on metadata management, crawler visibility, GEO capabilities, faceted navigation opportunities, and AI-powered discoverability tooling.

Your Responsibilities:

We're looking for someone with a passion for making an impact, a strategic mindset, and great communication skills.

• Own and evolve the product vision, roadmap, and backlog for discoverability and content capabilities within the Master Data domain.

• Build and improve scalable backend capabilities that enable SEO, Content, Shop Management, and other business teams to manage discoverability efficiently and independently.

• Drive the evolution of content and metadata management capabilities supporting search engines, AI-powered experiences, product pages, navigation, and customer discovery journeys.

• Own and enhance capabilities related to faceted navigation, filtering, facet governance, and discoverability optimization.

• Collaborate with Media Management stakeholders to enable scalable management of media metadata, accessibility information, product assets, and content enrichment.

• Drive automation initiatives that reduce manual effort and improve operational efficiency through self-service and workflow automation.

• Define scalable solutions supporting SEO, GEO, crawling, indexing, structured data, sitemap management, and discoverability monitoring.

• Balance and align requirements from SEO, Content, Shop Operations, Product, Data, and Engineering stakeholders with an enterprise-wide perspective.

• Act as the primary interface between business stakeholders, IT, and the agile delivery team.

• Lead agile ceremonies and ensure continuous delivery of measurable business value.

• Define, monitor, and improve KPIs related to discoverability enablement, metadata quality, operational efficiency, platform adoption, automation, and content quality.

Qualifications

We are seeking an individual with robust experience in the following qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience as a Product Owner or in a similar product-focused role.

• Strong experience working in agile environments with incremental delivery.

• Strong understanding of metadata, classifications, attributes, taxonomies, and discoverability concepts.

• Experience designing scalable business capabilities, platforms, or shared services.

• Familiarity with SEO, search technologies, digital discoverability, media management, or content ecosystems.

• Understanding of faceted navigation, filtering concepts, and customer discovery journeys.

• Exposure to AI-enabled solutions, automation, data enrichment, machine learning applications, or intelligent content capabilities is highly desirable.

• Strong analytical mindset with experience defining and tracking operational and business outcomes.

• Excellent communication skills in English and strong stakeholder management capabilities.

• Confident in driving change and guiding organizations through process, platform, and capability transformations.

• Proven ability in problem-solving and a hands-on approach to work.
