About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Pre-Sales / Solutions Consultant with knowledge of Databricks and modern data technologies to support our business development and client engagement activities.

In this role, you will act as a bridge between technical teams, business stakeholders, and potential clients. You will help identify customer needs, translate business challenges into technical solutions, and demonstrate how modern data platforms can deliver measurable business value.

The ideal candidate combines strong technical knowledge with excellent communication and presentation skills. You should feel comfortable discussing technical concepts with both business and technical audiences, leading solution demonstrations, and supporting the sales process from the initial discovery phase through solution validation.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the pre-sales process by providing technical expertise and solution consulting to prospective and existing clients.

• Work closely with sales teams to understand customer requirements, business challenges, and project objectives.

• Identify opportunities to leverage Databricks and modern data technologies to address client needs.

• Design and present tailored technology solutions, demonstrating their business value and technical capabilities.

• Prepare and deliver technical presentations, product demonstrations, workshops, and proof of concepts (PoCs).

• Engage with client stakeholders to understand their existing data environments, technical requirements, and target architectures.

• Explain complex technical concepts in a clear and accessible way to both technical and non-technical audiences.

• Collaborate with data engineers, architects, developers, and other technical experts to validate proposed solutions.

• Contribute to solution proposals, technical documentation, and responses to client requirements.

• Support the evaluation of solution feasibility, architecture, scalability, and potential implementation approaches.

• Build strong relationships with clients and act as a trusted technical advisor throughout the pre-sales process.

• Stay up to date with developments in Databricks, data engineering, cloud platforms, and the broader Data & AI ecosystem.

Requirements

• Proven experience in a Pre-Sales, Solutions Consulting, Sales Engineering, or Solutions Architecture role within the IT or technology sector.

• Good knowledge of Databricks and its capabilities within modern data platforms.

• Understanding of data-related technologies and concepts, such as Data Engineering, Data Analytics, Data Warehousing, or Data & AI.

• Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into appropriate technical solutions.

• Experience delivering technical presentations, product demonstrations, workshops, or proof of concepts.

• Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage both technical and business stakeholders.

• Ability to explain complex technical concepts in a clear, structured, and business-oriented manner.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, combined with a proactive and consultative mindset.

• Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams, including sales, engineering, and architecture.

• Good organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple client engagements and priorities.

• Fluent English, both written and spoken.

Nice to Have

• Hands-on experience with Databricks, Apache Spark, PySpark, or SQL.

• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform.

• Knowledge of the Lakehouse architecture and modern data platform ecosystems.

• Experience with data migration, data transformation, analytics, or AI/ML solutions.

• Experience working with enterprise clients in an international environment.

• Familiarity with cloud data architecture and data platform implementation projects.

• Experience supporting sales cycles, preparing technical proposals, and participating in client discovery sessions.
