GenAI Engineer / Architect

For one of our clients, we are looking for a GenAI Engineer / GenAI Solution Architect to join a project within the pharmaceutical sector. This is a highly hands-on role combining GenAI solution design, development, and technical leadership.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and build production-grade GenAI solutions end-to-end.

• Develop LLM, RAG and AI Agent / Agentic AI applications.

• Design retrieval pipelines using vector databases, hybrid search and reranking.

• Build solutions using LangChain, LangGraph and/or LlamaIndex.

• Implement MCP, LLM evaluation, guardrails, fine-tuning and AI governance.

• Deploy scalable AI applications and APIs in the cloud, preferably Azure.

• Provide technical leadership, architecture guidance and mentoring to other engineers.

Key Requirements

• Strong Python development experience.

• 2+ years of hands-on production GenAI/LLM experience.

• Strong practical experience with RAG and AI Agents.

• Experience with LangChain / LangGraph / LlamaIndex.

• Knowledge of vector databases, MCP, LLM evaluation and guardrails.

• Experience with Azure AI / Azure OpenAI preferred; AWS or GCP also considered.

• Experience with REST APIs, Docker and CI/CD.

• Ability to combine solution architecture with hands-on coding.
