About the project

We’re seeking a Unix Admin Specialist to join client’s Enterprise Infrastructure Team. You’ll play a key role in maintaining operational stability, integrity, and availability of Unix/Linux-based services.

This position involves working on engineering and operational excellence, driving automation, and ensuring the resilience and performance of mission-critical systems supporting a global financial environment.

Your responsibilities

• Ensure operational stability, integrity, and availability of UNIX/Linux-based products and services.
• Handle incidents, outages, and problem resolutions for high-availability environments.
• Deliver infrastructure engineering changes with automation, scalability, and security in mind.
• Implement, monitor, and optimize infrastructure performance and capacity.
• Maintain compliance with internal controls and service standards.
• Collaborate with infrastructure, application, and service management teams.
• Participate in on-call rotation.
• Note: Detailed project information will be shared during the recruitment process.

Our requirements

• 5+ years of Unix/Linux system administration experience.
• Solid hands-on knowledge of Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL 6–9).
• Strong understanding of operating system internals: processes, services, filesystems, and permissions.
• Proficiency in Bash scripting for automation and operational tasks.
• Good understanding of network fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, SSH, firewalls, troubleshooting).
• Experience with patching, package management, and vulnerability remediation (YUM/DNF, RPM).
• Familiarity with system monitoring, log analysis, and performance tuning.
• Knowledge of automation tools (Ansible preferred).
• Proven experience managing critical production environments.
• Very good English skills (spoken & written).

Optional

• Experience with collaboration tools (Jira, Confluence, ServiceNow).
• Strong communication, analytical, and teamwork abilities.
