Senior Data Engineer

To our Intelligence Division team we’re currently looking for:

Senior Data Engineer

We are looking for a (Senior) Data Engineer who will act as a technical mentor, define our architecture, and bring best practices to our Google Cloud ecosystem. You will step away from the daily grind of closing simple coding tickets to become a "force multiplier" for the rest of the team. You'll still get your hands dirty when needed—especially to show the team how things should be done—but your focus will be on driving operational excellence, establishing and propagating standards, and business advisory. In this role, you will be responsible for:

• Designing scalable Google Cloud data architectures from the ground up, effectively filling some workloads of a Cloud Architect.

• Moderating discovery sessions, translating architectural concepts into business value, and challenging client requests during pre-sales and project phases.

• Transforming ETL scripts into standardized ELT frameworks, implementing metadata-driven architectures, and defining rules for orchestration.

• Designing and implementing security standards, audit logging, and data quality monitoring.

• Acting as the technical mentor for the team through pair programming, setting technical standards, and conducting code reviews.

• Excellent communication skills to act as a technical partner for external stakeholders.

• English proficiency at a minimum B2 level.

• Familiarity with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes/GKE).
