Expert Application Security Specialist

Location: 100% remote work (Poland)
Availability: ASAP / within 1 month

We are looking for an Expert Application Security Specialist to join an ongoing project focused on Identity & Access Management (IAM). Project activities are starting now and are part of a larger IAM program.

The role requires substantial experience in managing Access Groups, User Accounts, and Service Accounts within SailPoint IQ. As part of an established project team, you will play a key role in onboarding and clean-up activities, collaborating closely with stakeholders from both Business and IT to ensure successful onboarding to SailPoint IQ.

We are looking for a professional with a collaborative mindset and a strong understanding of Business Applications, IT Processes, and Identity & Access Management. You should be able to support and challenge stakeholders while leveraging your experience in application management and/or development as well as IAM. Success in this role requires the ability to quickly understand different stakeholder environments while maintaining alignment with project objectives and deliverables.

Responsibilities:

Access Review and Analysis of Application Security & User Access Management:

• Analyze access-related data to identify inactive, excessive, or unnecessary user permissions

• Assess findings and recommend appropriate actions based on business requirements

Stakeholder Coordination and Analysis of Application Security & User Access Management:

• Engage, collaborate, and facilitate dialogue with business stakeholders, application managers, and system providers to gather information required for appropriate action

• Act as a trusted point of contact for stakeholders

• Collaborate with RACF and IAM subject matter experts and formulate recommendations for actions and mitigations

• Facilitate onboarding to SailPoint IQ

• Support clean-up activities related to access groups, user access, and service accounts

Project Support & Change Management:

• Facilitate discussions to resolve conflicting requirements and priorities

• Assist in effort prioritization and scope change management

• Identify risks and propose mitigation strategies

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, or a related field

• Proven experience as an Identity Application Security Specialist, Application Manager, or User Administrator working with SailPoint IQ

• Substantial experience managing Access Groups, User Accounts, and Service Accounts in SailPoint IQ

• Good understanding of applications and Identity & Access Management

• Self-driven and motivated with a collaborative mindset

• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills

• Ability to effectively collaborate with both Business and IT stakeholders

• Experience supporting application security and user access management initiatives

• Ability to quickly understand stakeholder contexts and align activities with project deliverables
