IT Technical Support (French)

Your role

The position covers operational activities combining first-level technical tasks and administrative actions related to IT service operations and support. It includes  handling basic incidents,  managing service requests through ITSM tools in line with established procedures and standards. The position also involves coordinating with higher-level technical teams for escalations and supporting provisioning activities.

Your tasks

• Provision and decommission virtual machines (VMs) using MyCloud in accordance with operational procedures

• Manage and monitor IT service tickets through ITSM tools (e.g., ServiceNow, ITZMI)

• Track service requests and ensure timely updates and resolution follow-up

• Serve as the primary point of contact for customers regarding infrastructure-related requests and incidents

• Coordinate with technical support teams (N2/N3) and other stakeholders to ensure efficient issue resolution

• Support backup and data protection activities in collaboration with the G3DS team

• Ensure accurate documentation, data consistency, and full traceability of all actions performed

• Follow established operational procedures, including Run activities, Service Requests, Changes and VM lifecycle management

• Participate in change management activities, including preparation, implementation, and validation of standard infrastructure changes

• Ensure compliance with internal processes, quality standards, and security requirements

Your profile

• Good knowledge of IT infrastructure, including virtualization, systems, and networking concepts

• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms and virtual machine lifecycle management

• Familiarity with ITSM and ticketing tools such as ServiceNow

• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and process compliance

• Customer-oriented mindset with excellent communication and coordination skills

• Ability to work effectively with multiple technical teams in a collaborative environment

• Basic understanding of backup and data protection processes is an asset

• Very good verbal and written communication skills in French
