About the Role

We are recruiting a Software Engineer with strong C++ development experience in low-latency trading systems.

The position requires hands-on experience developing high-performance, high-availability, high-throughput, low-latency, high-capacity, transaction-oriented distributed systems within a financial trading environment.

Required Skills and Experience

• 5–7 years of hands-on C++ development experience.

• Strong experience with multithreading, data structures, STL, casting, templates, pointers, socket programming and algorithms.

• Programming experience in Linux/Unix environments.

• Experience developing order management systems, working with the FIX protocol and handling order states within a financial environment.

• Experience developing high-performance, high-availability, high-throughput, low-latency, high-capacity, transaction-oriented distributed systems.

• Strong knowledge of equity trading environments, ideally across multiple regions.

• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex functional and non-functional requirements to IT and business stakeholders.

Nice to Have

• Previous experience working on client connectivity systems.

• Java development experience, particularly Core Java, Collections and Reflection.

• Experience handling Level 3 (DEV) support in a pressurised production environment.

Working Arrangement

Kraków, Poland – hybrid, 3 days onsite per week.
