Project Overview

We are looking for an experienced SAP ECC Specialist with strong expertise in logistics processes and a solid understanding of finance, pricing, and calculation logic.

This role focuses not on traditional accounting tasks, but on comprehending complex logistics processes, related pricing mechanisms, and the corresponding data flows within a highly customized SAP ECC environment.

The specialist will join an existing project team, acting as a hands-on subject-matter expert and sparring partner. The initial engagement is projected for approximately six months, with a substantial possibility of extension. The overall project is expected to continue until 2030.

• Tasks:

  • Support the existing team as a sparring partner; clarify country- and customer-related questions and provide recommendations.

• Communication:

  • Summarize technical matters in an understandable way for business departments and management; work proactively with developers and other teams.

Key Requirements:

• Extensive understanding of logistics

• Financial understanding (knowledge of finance/pricing in logistics processes)

• Experienced with data flows between SAP and Data Warehouse

• Strong communication skills; must be able to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels

• Hands-on mentality

• Knowledge of the European retail market

• English language proficiency is mandatory

Nice to Have:

• Familiarity with ABAP coding for system analysis
