Senior Technical Outsystems developer

We’re looking for a Senior Technical OutSystems Developer to join a challenging technology project, taking an active role in designing, developing and evolving scalable applications using the OutSystems platform.

You’ll work closely with technical and business teams, contributing not only to development but also to architecture decisions, integrations, code quality and continuous improvement.

What you’ll be doing

• Design, develop and maintain applications using OutSystems

• Translate functional and business requirements into robust technical solutions

• Build reusable, scalable and maintainable components

• Develop and maintain integrations with external systems and APIs

• Contribute to application architecture and technical design decisions

• Troubleshoot complex technical and performance issues

• Perform code reviews and promote development best practices

• Support testing, deployment and application lifecycle activities

• Collaborate with Product Owners, Business Analysts, QA and other developers

• Mentor less experienced developers and contribute to knowledge sharing

• Participate in Agile development practices and continuous improvement

What we’re looking for

• Strong professional experience developing solutions with OutSystems

• Solid experience with OutSystems 11 (O11) and/or OutSystems Developer Cloud (ODC)

• Experience building Reactive Web and/or Mobile applications

• Strong knowledge of application architecture, data modelling and reusable components

• Experience integrating applications through REST APIs and web services

• Good understanding of relational databases and SQL

• Knowledge of software development best practices, testing and version/release management

• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments

• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

• Ability to work autonomously while collaborating effectively within multidisciplinary teams

• Good communication skills in English

Nice to have

• OutSystems certifications, particularly Professional/Specialist-level credentials

• Experience acting as a Tech Lead or mentoring other OutSystems developers

• Experience with CI/CD and DevOps practices

• Knowledge of cloud environments and integration architectures

• Experience with automated testing and application performance optimisation

• Exposure to both O11 and ODC
