About the Role & The Team

You will join the IT Solutions Delivery department of an established, data-driven technology company. We are currently undergoing a large-scale technological transformation—modernizing our core architecture, developing a cutting-edge data platform, and standardizing engineering practices across the board.

Our department combines software development, architecture, systems analysis, and infrastructure operations. We take full, end-to-end ownership of our solutions lifecycle: from the initial design and deployment to maintenance and continuous enhancement. If you are looking to build highly scalable products and drive strategic tech initiatives, this is the place for you.

What You Will Do:

• Design, develop, and optimize high-availability backend systems.

• Drive and own key architectural and technological decisions within your domain.

• Analyze business requirements, autonomously plan technical tasks, and estimate solutions.

• Build and maintain integrations with distributed databases and message broker systems.

• Elevate the team’s engineering culture through knowledge sharing, comprehensive code reviews, and mentoring.

What We Expect:

• Minimum 5 years of commercial experience in Python with a deep understanding of its ecosystem.

• Proven commercial track record working with Django, specifically in building and scaling REST APIs.

• Strong, practical knowledge of MySQL, Cassandra, and ClickHouse.

• Hands-on experience with RabbitMQ and asynchronous communication patterns.

• A high degree of independence—you are comfortable owning a feature end-to-end, from gathering requirements to deployment and post-release maintenance.

• Excellent capability to estimate time and complexity, coupled with a critical, problem-solving approach to business requirements.

• A proactive, "can-do" mentality focused on achieving goals and finding optimal technical solutions.

• English proficiency allowing for seamless daily communication.

Nice to Have:

• Commercial experience working with Apache Spark and Big Data processing.

What We Offer:

• Real influence on the company's technological direction and active participation in strategic transformation projects.

• Close collaboration with a highly experienced team of engineering experts.

• A comfortable hybrid work model (2 days in the office, 3 days remote) and flexible working hours.
