IFS Finance Consultant

Summary:

The IFS Finance Consultant plays a pivotal role in the successful implementation and optimization of IFS financial solutions in alignment with business requirements and finance processes.

Responsibilities:

• Analyse business requirements and translate them into functional solutions within IFS Finance.

• Configure and implement IFS financial modules including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, Cash Management, and Financial Reporting.

• Support the implementation and optimization of financial processes such as budgeting, cost control, financial accounting, and closing periods.

• Conduct workshops with finance teams to gather requirements and document business processes for improved efficiency.

• Assist with chart of accounts design, financial structures, and accounting configurations.

• Facilitate data migration, validation, reconciliation, and integration with other enterprise systems.

• Prepare functional specifications and collaborate with technical teams on customizations and reports.

• Develop and execute test scenarios and support testing phases, whilst resolving functional issues.

• Provide end-user training and documentation while supporting change management activities.

• Assist in go-live preparation and ongoing post-implementation support.

• Ensure compliance of financial configurations with audit requirements and regulatory standards.

Key Requirements:

• Proven experience as an IFS Finance Consultant or IFS Functional Consultant specializing in finance.

• Hands-on experience with IFS Applications or IFS Cloud Finance.

• Strong functional knowledge of key financial modules like General Ledger and Accounts Payable.

• Expertise in financial configuration, chart of accounts, and reporting processes.

• Experience with data migration, reconciliation, and system integration.

• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

Nice to Have:

• IFS Finance certification or relevant IFS functional certification.

• Experience with IFS Cloud implementations.

• Experience in ERP implementation or transformation projects in the UAE or GCC.

• Familiarity with VAT and multi-currency accounting.

• Knowledge of integrations between IFS and other enterprise applications.

• Location: United Arab Emirates (UAE).

• Contract Duration: 12 Months.
