Project

Join a team responsible for building and evolving a modern Data Platform within one of the largest financial institutions in the Nordic region. The project focuses on enabling advanced data-driven decision making, improving data quality, and developing scalable analytics capabilities across the organization.

As a Data Business Analyst, you will act as a bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring the successful delivery of high-quality data and analytics solutions. You will collaborate with multiple teams across the organization to define requirements, analyse complex processes, and support the implementation of end-to-end data solutions.

Responsibilities you'll have

• Gather, analyse and document business and functional requirements

• Collaborate with stakeholders across the organization to understand expected outcomes and define solution scope

• Support the design of Data Platform and analytics solutions

• Work closely with Data Engineers, Developers, Architects and Product Owners

• Analyse data flows, business processes and system dependencies

• Ensure high standards of data quality, data governance and data hygiene

• Manage dependencies between teams and coordinate cross-functional deliveries

• Support incident management and issue resolution activities

• Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives

• Translate business needs into actionable user stories and acceptance criteria

Expected competences and knowledge

• Proven experience as an IT Business Analyst, System Analyst or Data Analyst

• Experience working with complex business and technical requirements

• Strong understanding of data analysis, data quality and data governance concepts

• Experience with data workflows, ETL processes and Data Pipelines

• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills

• Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset

• Ability to work independently and take ownership of features and user stories

• Experience working in Agile environmentsUnderstanding of CI/CD concepts

• Knowledge of Big Data ecosystems

• Experience with incident management processes and tools
