Your responsibilities

Product Ownership and Requirements Definition:

•Gather and clarify customer and stakeholder needs, translating them into clear, actionable functional and non-functional requirements for WinCan Cloud.

•Prepare and maintain epics, user stories, workflows, and measurable acceptance criteria, covering relevant business rules, edge cases, and dependencies across WinCan Web, WinCan Enterprise, and WIS.

•Own and prioritise the product backlog, breaking down initiatives into deliverable items and refining requirements with engineering and QA teams before sprint planning.

•Clarify requirements throughout development, manage changes in scope, and validate delivered functionality against acceptance criteria and intended business outcomes.

•Lead agile product development processes, including sprint planning, backlog grooming, and release

management.

Product Strategy and Roadmap:

•Define and communicate the product vision and strategy, taking into account customer needs, market developments, and business goals.

•Develop, maintain, and present the product roadmap, balancing customer feedback, stakeholder input, sales insights, and technical opportunities.

•Lead the modernization and continuous improvement of the platform, prioritizing features and enhancements that address customer needs, industry requirements, and long-term product objectives.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

•Work closely with the Team Leader, Engineering, QA, and Infrastructure teams to assess feasibility, resolve dependencies, and agree on delivery trade-offs.

•Partner with other Product Managers/Owners to facilitate collaboration across teams and ensure product goals are understood and delivered effectively.

Our requirements

•Excellent communication and collaboration skills for working effectively across cross-functional teams and stakeholders (in Polish and English).

•Hands-on experience gathering and documenting software requirements, writing user stories and acceptance criteria, and describing workflows, business rules, and non-functional requirements.

•Practical experience in Product Ownership within an agile team, including backlog prioritisation, refinement, and dependency management.

•Good understanding of the software development lifecycle, testing practices, release processes.

•Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, enabling the translation of customer needs, business objectives, and market insights into clear product requirements and priorities.

•GIS and asset management education or professional background will be a big advantage.

•Jira and Confluence experience is nice to have.

Position Overview:

As a Product Manager/Product Owner at WinCan Poland, you will be responsible for defining and executing the product vision and roadmap, driving innovation across inspection workflows, reporting, data management, and industry standards compliance. You will balance the needs of a mature, globally adopted product with opportunities for modernization, growth, and an improved customer experience.

Success in this role requires strong product management expertise, a customer-centric mindset, technical curiosity, and the ability to evolve the product while maintaining the industry trust that has made WinCan the preferred solution provider for sewer inspection professionals worldwide.

You will work closely with experienced Product Managers/Owners, global stakeholders, the Technical Lead, and development and quality assurance teams to define priorities and deliver product improvements in a timely manner.

Product Description:

WinCan Cloud is a SaaS ecosystem for sewer inspection data and infrastructure management, comprising WinCan Web, WinCan Enterprise, and WIS. WinCan Web supports online inspection review, coding, reporting, data sharing, and AI-assisted defect detection. WinCan Enterprise centralises work orders, project coordination, and GIS integration, connecting office and field teams. WIS supports business operations through product, pricing, licence, quotation, and invoice management. Together, these components connect inspection workflows with operational and commercial processes across all WinCan products.
