This role is responsible for maintaining and operating applications running on Windows and RHEL (Red Hat Enterprise Linux) infrastructure in an enterprise banking environment.

Responsibilities:

• Providing technical advice to development teams and clients throughout projects, including the application design and development phases.

• Developing technical solution concepts in collaboration with operations teams, architects, and the Service Design department.

• Integrating applications with infrastructure and technology platforms.

• Installing, configuring, and continuously monitoring applications on the systems required for their operation.

• Maintaining applications across all required environments (test, integration, production, etc.) in line with client requirements.

• Customizing applications to client needs in accordance with established standards and concepts.

• Defining and communicating requirements for technology layers (databases, infrastructure, middleware) and developing operational standards for them.

• Performing testing and supporting the rollout of new versions (release management).

• Providing 2nd and 3rd Level Support, including handling tickets, analyzing and resolving errors, and addressing incidents escalated by Event Management or operating units.

• Independently planning and implementing new applications and systems.

• Automating operational, testing, change, and monitoring processes.

• Participating in projects covering the implementation, migration, development, and maintenance of client applications.

• Managing, coordinating, maintaining, and developing highly complex applications.

• Serving as a subject-matter expert for banking applications.

Requirements

• Expert knowledge of administering and working with Java-based applications.

• Very good knowledge of Windows and RHEL operating systems.

• Solid experience in application deployment, including task sequencing.

• Knowledge of Oracle and PostgreSQL databases.

• Experience integrating Windows and Linux applications in complex, heterogeneous IT environments.

• Experience in an enterprise or banking environment.

• Fluent German.

Nice to Have

• Experience with deployment and automation tools: Ansible, Docker, Git.

• Good command of English.
