Lead Technical Product Manager - Rail Integrations

Distribusion is the world’s leading ground transportation marketplace and gives travellers seamless access to ground transportation online, from search to ticket purchase. We have built a cutting-edge B2B technology platform that connects bus, rail, and ferry operators in 70+ countries with the biggest online retailers, including Google Maps and Booking.com.

We are shaping the future of travel and building the largest global network of transport providers and retailers. We are one of the fastest-growing startups in travel, backed by leading venture capital investors including TQ Ventures, Lightrock, Creandum, and Northzone, and are headquartered in Berlin, Germany. Following our recent $80m Series C funding, we are ready to push beyond.

We are looking for a Lead Technical Product Manager to join our Supply domain, more specifically in the Rail Integrations team, which is responsible for onboarding carriers onto our system (integrating external systems and harmonising data structures). This is key to scaling our business; therefore, our focus is on innovation and automation.

What you will do:

• Lead and grow a team of Technical Product Managers and Integration Analysts, setting the standard for technical excellence and ownership.

• Define the strategy for partner integrations — how the world's largest ground transportation marketplace integrates with operators across 70+ countries.

• Turn integration into a competitive advantage by driving automation, slashing time-to-live, and building scalable infrastructure no competitor can match.

• Own the roadmap end-to-end — make the tough prioritisation calls and deliver features that directly grow inventory and revenue.

• Lead high-stakes carrier partnerships, engaging C-level stakeholders to scope and deliver integrations that unlock new markets.

• Challenge the status quo — question existing processes and raise the bar for how integrations are scoped, executed, and measured.

Workplace: Berlin & Hybrid; or Remote

We are a remote-first international company with team members spread around the world. We are looking to hire the best talent around the Globe, so wherever you are, feel free to reach out. If, however, you prefer working onsite/hybrid, our heart is in Berlin, one of the biggest and most vibrant tech hubs in Europe, and we are happy to assist with relocation.

Job requirements

•  5+ years of product management experience, with at least 3 years focused on technical or API products. You've owned the full lifecycle of an integration product, not just supported it.

•  Deep technical fluency with APIs: comfortable reading documentation, working through data schema decisions with engineers, and spotting integration edge cases.

• Experience scoping and delivering B2B integrations with external partners or enterprise clients, managing complexity across technical, commercial, and operational dimensions.

• Fluent stakeholder communicator: translating complex technical concepts for executive stakeholders and engaging with equal depth on implementation detail with engineering teams.

• Structured and delivery-oriented: you bring clarity to ambiguous scopes and drive execution with rigour.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.

Nice to have:

• Familiarity with ground transportation data standards (e.g. GTFS, NeTEx) or experience in travel tech, mobility, or logistics.

• Ready to lead (experience a plus): you may have already managed a small team of technical PMs or analysts. If not, you're excited to start. You know how to coach, unblock, and grow people while staying close to the work.

• Exposure to high-load, high-availability platform environments.

What you can expect:

• Make a global impact. Help shape how millions of people discover and book ground transportation worldwide.

• Own your work. Take responsibility from day one and see the direct impact of your contributions.

• Build with the best tools. We move fast, continuously evolve our tech stack, and invest in modern, efficient solutions.

• Work with industry leaders. Our partners include Booking.com, Google Maps, Amtrak, Deutsche Bahn, Renfe, and SNCF.

• Grow with exceptional people. Join an international team that will challenge, support, and inspire you every day.

• Work your way. Enjoy flexible and remote-friendly working options, relocation opportunities, and plenty of room to grow.
