At Startup House we deliver end-to-end AI software for enterprises like Siemens, PwC and Toyota. We're looking for a Senior Developer who doesn't just use AI tools, but builds with them by default: agents in the workflow, LLM features in the product, and a sharp eye for what's production-ready.

Your responsibilities

• Design and ship AI-powered products end to end in Go and Node.js – RAG pipelines, AI agents, and the APIs and integrations around them – built to enterprise security and compliance standards (including the EU AI Act).
• Work AI-first every day: coding agents, automated reviews and tests, prompt and eval pipelines – with real room to experiment with new models and tools.
• Join projects for clients of different backgrounds, both business- and consumer-targeted. Wondering what you'd work on? Check out a powerful cyber risk mitigation platform, a Norwegian eco-friendly start-up or something just as exciting!
• Gain wide experience across many industries and ways of working, both for exciting startups and established enterprises like Siemens.
• Own your work and decide on the project's direction.
• Grow fast through our internal knowledge-sharing initiatives – and share your own expertise with more junior team members, helping shape our standards for AI-assisted development.

Our requirements

Experience:

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience, with strong expertise in Go, Node.js or JavaScript

• Hands-on experience shipping LLM-based features to production

Tech skills:

• Experience with LangChain or other LLM orchestration frameworks

• Solid understanding of LLM architectures, embeddings and vector search (RAG)

• Daily use of AI coding tools (e.g. Claude Code, Cursor, Copilot) and opinions on how to use them well

• Experience integrating external APIs, databases and third-party tools into AI pipelines

• Proficiency in building and consuming RESTful and GraphQL APIs

• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP or Azure), Docker and Kubernetes

• Familiarity with MLOps practices: model deployment, monitoring and evaluation, CI/CD for AI systems

• Strong background in data structures, algorithms and software design principles

Soft skills:

• At least B2 in English – we work internationally, so that's a must

• Strong collaboration, communication and organisation skills – we're a team and we want you to be a part of it!

• Readiness to work in an agile environment

• Ability and will to share your knowledge with more junior members of the team

• Proactive attitude towards implementing changes

• Attention to detail

Optional

• Experience with Python

• Practical experience developing AI agents (incl. MCP servers or tool calling)

• Observability for LLM apps (e.g. Langfuse)

• Practical DDD experience and knowledge of Event Sourcing

• Passion for new technologies and startups

• Pet projects, presence in the IT community

• Any other programming languages and frameworks

• Salary: 24 000 – 27 000 PLN net/month on B2B
