Consultant/Analytic D365 (Sales)

]In this key analytical role, you will represent the Commercial & Sales division during a major international ERP transformation program. Reporting functionally to the Sales Director, you will act as the vital communication bridge between local commercial operations, central project teams, and Microsoft representatives.

This is a business-centric position focused on process design and user-side representation—not a technical coding or system configuration role. Your primary objective is to evaluate commercial workflows, map out the customer journey, and translate local sales requirements into actionable functional specifications for the central delivery team.

📋 Key Responsibilities

Market & Operational Readiness

• Examine current-state (AS-IS) commercial operations and sales workflows to highlight local variances from the global template.

• Map sales-supporting applications and analyze data exchange touchpoints across connected enterprise tools.

• Capture and formalize local commercial requirements while conducting gap evaluations against core system models.

• Assist in phasing out standalone local sales applications as central enterprise solutions are rolled out.

• Develop deep domain expertise across Sales, Dealer Management Systems (DMS), and Order-to-Delivery (O2D) cycles.

Global Blueprinting & Target State Design

• Serve as the dedicated business advocate during global Blueprint design workshops.

• Evaluate how proposed core system templates will impact local sales execution, commercial applications, and system interfaces.

• Validate that central solution designs satisfy local market practices and commercial operational needs.

• Maintain comprehensive records of business assumptions, localization decisions, and functional specifications.

• Partner with global delivery leads, Microsoft specialists, and commercial SMEs to address Fit/Gap findings.

Solution Implementation & Business Validation

• Drive ongoing alignment between sales stakeholders, central project teams, and Microsoft partners.

• Review incoming system setups and deliverables strictly through a commercial user-experience lens.

• Organize and oversee functional, integration, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) across sales scenarios.

• Assist in triaging, prioritizing, and managing defect resolutions and change requests for the sales stream.

• Ensure operational readiness across commercial teams leading up to Go-Live.

Go-Live Support & Hypercare Stabilization

• Provide hands-on guidance to Sales Key Users and commercial process leads during deployment.

• Track end-to-end sales process performance to ensure post-launch operational stability.

• Analyze user feedback and collaborate with central support and Microsoft teams to resolve hypercare issues.

• Identify continuous improvement opportunities to streamline post-implementation sales workflows.

⚙️ Candidate Profile & Requirements

• ERP Exposure: Functional familiarity or hands-on experience with MS Dynamics 365 (earlier-stage or less extensive experience is acceptable, but fundamental system understanding is required).

• Role Orientation: Strong background as a User-Side Business Analyst, Commercial Process Lead, or Functional Consultant in Sales environments.

• Domain Focus: Solid grasp of commercial workflows, customer journey mapping, B2B sales pipelines, and sales-to-delivery handoffs.

• Methodological Rigor: High diligence in maintaining clear functional documentation, decision logs, and process maps.

• Languages & Communication: Professional working proficiency in English (solid B2 minimum) to collaborate seamlessly in a global matrix environment.

• Tooling: Practical experience with modern project coordination platforms (e.g., Azure DevOps, Jira, Confluence).
