About the project

We are looking for a Senior Android Engineer to work on a large-scale VPN application used by millions of users worldwide. You will focus on Android development, networking, security, and building new features in an international engineering team.

Your responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Android applications using Kotlin and Java.
• Build new features and improve existing VPN functionality.
• Work on networking, connectivity, performance, and security.
• Troubleshoot technical issues and improve application stability.
• Collaborate with Android, backend, networking, and QA engineers.
• Contribute to technical decisions and code quality.

Our requirements

• 5+ years of commercial experience in Android development.
• Strong experience with Kotlin and Java.
• Good knowledge of Android SDK and modern Android architecture (MVVM, Clean Architecture).
• Good understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, UDP, DNS, HTTP/HTTPS).
• Experience with Android networking, connectivity, or VPN-related functionality.
• Understanding of Android security principles.
• Experience with debugging, performance optimization, and testing.
• Good English communication skills.

Optional

• Experience with VPN applications or protocols (WireGuard, OpenVPN, IPSec, etc.).
• Experience with NDK, C, or C++.
• Familiarity with network debugging tools (Wireshark, tcpdump).
• Experience working in international teams
