YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

• Collaborate with the existing NLP Azure consultant to design and implement changes to Tenant/Subscriptions/CA Policies to incorporate NLP as a resource domain for Customer

• Enable NLP to grant permissions to resources (applications, access) for Customer accounts.

• Simplify user management by removing the requirement for NLP accounts and improving the user experience (primary work from Customer laptops).

• Reduce or dismantle Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) dependencies where applicable.

• Work closely with Customer AD team, NLP team, and Customer Endpoint Management team to ensure seamless integration and alignment of IT infrastructure.

• Provide technical design, migration plans, and runbooks for cross-tenant governance and access management.

WHAT DO WE REQUIRE?

Must-Have Knowledge & Experience

• Microsoft Entra ID & Cross-Tenant Governance: Expert-level knowledge in configuring B2B collaboration, B2B direct connect, and trust settings (MFA, compliant device synchronization) between separate corporate tenants.

• External Identities: Deep understanding of managing external users, guest accounts, and cross-tenant synchronization lifecycle.

• Identity Governance & Lifecycle: Experience setting up Entra ID governance, entitlement management, access packages, and Privileged Identity Management (PIM) for external partners.

• Cloud Infrastructure & MS Azure Architecture: Mastery of designing management groups, custom RBAC roles, and subscription-level permissions tailored to multi-tenant environments.

• Enterprise Architecture: Experience aligning IT infrastructure across two distinct financial/enterprise domains (Customer & NLP) without causing security overlaps.

• Device Management Integration: Understanding of endpoint management to validate cross-tenant device compliance (ensuring Customer and NLP tenant trusts Customer laptop compliance state).

• Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD): Strong background in AVD deployments, session hosts, and architectural knowledge required to safely reduce AVD dependencies.

Nice-to-Have Knowledge & Experience

• Stakeholder Management: Ability to bridge communication gaps between Customer AD team, NLP team, and Customer Endpoint Management team.

• Technical Writing: Competency in drafting technical designs, migration plans, and final runbooks.
