For our Client we are looking for an experienced Senior Data & AI Engineer to join a large-scale digital transformation initiative within an international enterprise environment.

This is a full-time, hybrid role based in Warsaw, with an expected 50/50 split between remote work and working from the Warsaw office.

About the role

As a Senior Data & AI Engineer, you will combine data engineering, analytics and AI engineering. You will design and maintain enterprise data models, datasets and pipelines, ensure data quality and reporting continuity during system transformation, and develop AI solutions based on governed enterprise data.

You will work closely with product teams, business stakeholders, architects and data specialists in an international environment.

Your responsibilities

• Design and maintain data models, analytical datasets, data pipelines and semantic layers.

• Develop and optimize ELT/data integration processes.

• Support data migration and integration with target enterprise systems.

• Ensure continuity and reliability of reporting throughout system transformations.

• Build automated data-quality rules, monitoring, alerts and reconciliation processes.

• Identify data inconsistencies, duplicates, anomalies and missing values.

• Develop and productionize AI and Generative AI solutions using enterprise data.

• Build solutions such as RAG-based applications, analytics assistants, data-quality agents and content retrieval services.

• Implement AI evaluation, monitoring, guardrails and cost controls.

• Use ML techniques for anomaly detection, entity matching, classification and duplicate detection.

• Translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.

• Define success metrics and measure the business value of delivered data and AI capabilities.

• Document data lineage, transformation logic, AI solutions and technical controls.

• Create reusable data and AI components and share best practices within the team.

What we're looking for

• 5+ years of experience in Data Engineering, Analytics Engineering or BI Development with enterprise-scale data.

• Experience working within a large transformation, migration or multi-stakeholder program.

• Hands-on experience delivering at least one AI/ML or Generative AI solution beyond the prototype stage.

• Advanced SQL skills.

• Strong experience with data modelling, including dimensional and semantic models.

• Experience building and orchestrating data/ELT pipelines.

• Strong Python skills for data engineering, automation and AI.

• Experience with Salesforce data and integrations, including Salesforce Data Cloud and API-based or event-driven integrations.

• Strong understanding of data quality, profiling, reconciliation, monitoring and master-data practices.

• Experience with BI and analytics platforms such as Qlik, including scripting and report regression testing.

• Practical knowledge of Generative AI, including:

• Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG)

• prompt engineering

• LLM output evaluation

• cloud-based AI platforms

• Understanding of data privacy, security and Responsible AI in enterprise environments.

• Fluent English, both written and spoken.

Nice to have

• Experience with agentic AI and orchestration frameworks, such as LangGraph or Semantic Kernel.

• Knowledge of LLMOps, including CI/CD, monitoring, guardrails and cost management.

• Experience with master data management or data governance.

• Experience with CRM, commercial, order management, billing or customer-service data.

• Experience working in Agile environments at scale, ideally SAFe.
