Finance SME – Natural Gas (NG) (Downstream)

Summary: The role focuses on leveraging expertise in the natural gas business to enhance financial reporting and data modeling related to gas processing, NGLs, gas sales, and distribution. The primary goal is to ensure accurate financial practices and profitability assessments within the organization.

Main Responsibilities:

• Capture NG finance, pricing, and reporting practices (processing, NGLs, sales, and distribution).

• Define gas-specific product and unit-of-measure needs (volume and energy-based, e.g., MMSCF, MMBtu) and conversion rules.

• Advise on regulated/contracted pricing and its effect on margin reporting.

• Validate GCOA, product master, and segmentation outputs for NG.

Key Requirements:

• Senior finance role in a natural gas processing, marketing, or distribution business.

• Understanding of gas pricing mechanisms, take-or-pay contracts, and volumetric reporting.

Nice to Have:

• GCC gas sector experience.

• Exposure to gas hydrocarbon accounting systems.

Other Details:

• Experience: 12+ years in finance; 6+ years in the gas business.

• Role Level: Senior Manager equivalent.
