System Administrator

We are looking for an experienced OpenShift / Kubernetes Administrator who will join a long-term project focused on building and maintaining modern cloud-native platforms and database solutions. Hybrid work based in Warsaw is preferred.

Scope of responsibilities:

• Administration and maintenance of OpenShift and Kubernetes environments.

• Installation, configuration, and lifecycle management of OpenShift clusters.

• Management of PostgreSQL databases running on Kubernetes (CNPG / EDB Postgres).

• Configuration and maintenance of high-availability solutions, including failover, switchover, and replication.

• Backup and recovery management using Barman, S3, and WAL archiving.

• Implementation and maintenance of GitOps practices with Argo CD.

• Creation and support of CI/CD pipelines within GitLab and OpenShift.

• Monitoring, logging, troubleshooting, and performance optimization of platform services.

• Implementation of security best practices across containerized environments.

Required skills and qualifications:

• Hands-on experience administering OpenShift or Kubernetes platforms.

• Strong understanding of containerized environments, networking, storage, and RBAC.

• Experience with CI/CD and GitOps practices.

• Experience managing PostgreSQL databases in Kubernetes environments.

• Knowledge of Git, GitLab, and infrastructure automation.

• Experience with monitoring and logging solutions (Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, or similar).

• Understanding of security best practices in Kubernetes/OpenShift environments.

• Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
