IE Oracle E-Business Functional Consultant

Responsibilities

• Configure and maintain Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS), including flexfields, workflows, value sets, approval processes, and cross-module settings.

• Implement functional enhancements and document system changes, including preparing MD50 and BR100 documentation.

• Identify opportunities to improve business processes, streamline operations, and automate recurring activities.

• Prepare and execute test scripts for system upgrades, patches, and functional enhancements.

• Perform regression testing to ensure system stability and consistency across integrated modules.

• Support interfaces and integrations using APIs, Oracle Application Framework (OAF), Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), XML, and custom solutions.

• Assist with data loads, reconciliation activities, and master data governance.

• Collaborate with business subject matter experts to improve operational processes and strengthen internal controls.

• Provide user training, support User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and maintain functional and process documentation.

• Deliver Level 2 and Level 3 functional support across Oracle EBS modules, including Financials, Supply Chain Management (SCM), and HR.

• Investigate and resolve issues affecting daily operations, financial transactions, and reporting.

• Work closely with IT, Finance, Procurement, and technical teams to resolve incidents and deliver system improvements.

Requirements

• Degree in Information Technology, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.

• 6–10 years of experience working with Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS), particularly across Financials, Supply Chain Management (SCM), or HR modules.

• Strong knowledge of functional configuration, system enhancements, and troubleshooting within Oracle EBS.

• Experience with functional documentation, test preparation, regression testing, and release support.

• Understanding of enterprise business processes, financial operations, and cross-module dependencies.

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

• Ability to collaborate effectively with business users and technical teams.

• Willingness to travel for business when required.

Nice to Have

• German or French language skills.

• Additional qualifications such as an MBA, CA, CMA, or CFA.
