Job Description: Senior Java Full Stack Developer

Location: Kraków, Poland
Work Model: Hybrid – 3 days per week in the office

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Java Full Stack Developer with strong expertise in Java backend development and React frontend technologies. The ideal candidate will have experience building scalable, secure, and high-performance applications, working across the full software development lifecycle, and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Experience with Microsoft Azure cloud services is a plus.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain full-stack applications using Java and React.

• Build robust backend services, RESTful APIs, and microservices using Java and related frameworks.

• Develop responsive, user-friendly frontend applications using React, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.

• Integrate frontend components with backend services and external systems.

• Design and work with relational and/or NoSQL databases.

• Write clean, reusable, maintainable, and well-tested code.

• Participate in technical design discussions, code reviews, and architectural decisions.

• Troubleshoot application issues and improve system performance, scalability, and reliability.

• Collaborate with product owners, business analysts, QA engineers, and other developers in an Agile environment.

• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and deployment processes.

• Follow established coding standards, security practices, and software engineering best practices.

Required Skills & Experience

• 7+ years of professional software development experience.

• Strong hands-on experience with Java and object-oriented programming.

• Experience with Spring Boot, Spring Framework, and related Java technologies.

• Strong frontend development experience with React.

• Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3.

• Experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs.

• Good understanding of microservices architecture and distributed systems.

• Experience with relational databases and SQL.

• Familiarity with Git, version control, and build tools such as Maven or Gradle.

• Experience writing unit and integration tests.

• Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies and software development best practices.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Nice to Have

• Experience with Microsoft Azure cloud services.

• Familiarity with Azure App Service, Azure Functions, Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), or Azure DevOps.

• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.

• Knowledge of CI/CD automation and cloud-native application development.

• Familiarity with messaging technologies such as Kafka or RabbitMQ.

• Experience with automated frontend testing frameworks.
