Role Overview

We are looking for a hands-on full-stack engineer who combines strong software development skills with technical ownership and a continuous-improvement mindset. This is primarily a hands-on engineering role. Technical oversight complements direct software delivery; it does not replace it.

Responsibilities

• Refine requirements and design solutions: Translate business needs and user stories into clear technical requirements, implementation plans, and maintainable solution designs.
• Independently develop full-stack software: Build, test, and maintain frontend applications, backend services, APIs, and GCP-based components.
• Build reusable engineering foundations: Develop shared modules, services, and reference implementations aligned with horizontal architecture frameworks and engineering standards.
• Own delivery through the software lifecycle: Take developed components from design and implementation through automated testing, CI/CD deployment, monitoring, and maintenance.
• Ensure production readiness: Incorporate security, reliability, observability, performance, and supportability into solutions from the outset.
• Review and validate vendor implementations: Conduct code reviews, assess automated tests, and validate applications against agreed requirements and engineering standards.
• Provide technical oversight when required: Guide vendor development, SRE, QA, and operations teams on implementation quality, technical issues, and production readiness.
• Continuously reduce technical debt: Identify and prioritize refactoring, dependency updates, automation, and reliability improvements.
• Collaborate across teams: Work with product, architecture, platform, security, and operations stakeholders to resolve dependencies and deliver integrated solutions.
