About the project

We are currently looking for a Senior Test Automation Engineer to join our client, a global leader in the financial sector. You will be part of the Global Payment Capture initiative within the Embedded Banking service domain. The project focuses on building a highly scalable, robust payment order orchestration platform that abstracts payment complexity and supports multiple channels.

Location: Warsaw, Gdynia, Gdańsk, or Łódź (Hybrid model – 60% office presence required)

Your responsibilities

• Working closely within an Agile/Scrum team alongside developers, analysts, and stakeholders to ensure top-tier product quality.
• Testing and validating microservices within complex payment flows, including APIs, Kafka, and databases.
• Analyzing project requirements from a testing perspective.
• Planning, designing, and executing comprehensive test cases.
• Building and maintaining robust automated test suites using Python and Robot Framework.
• Providing transparent test results and contributing to overall quality reporting.
• Participating actively in testing team activities and driving organizational quality initiatives.

Our requirements

• Proven experience with RESTful API testing tools and methodologies.
• Strong programming skills in Python dedicated to test development.
• Hands-on expertise with Robot Framework automation.
• Solid experience with Database and Kafka testing.
• Proven ability to test and validate XML/JSON data formats.
• Familiarity with modern DevOps tools and containerization (Jenkins, Git, Docker, Kubernetes).
• Knowledge of QA processes (both manual and automated) combined with ISTQB Foundation Level knowledge (or equivalent practical experience).
• Excellent, fluent communication skills in English (both spoken and written).
