QA Engineer

Summary

We are hiring a QA Engineer with 3-5 years of experience for a Baggage Management System project. The primary goal is to ensure the quality and performance of aviation applications through thorough testing and collaboration with teams.

Main Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and execute detailed test plans, test cases, and test strategies.

• Perform manual testing, including functional, API, integration, and database testing.

• Validate system functionality through REST/SOAP API testing using tools such as Postman and SOAP UI.

• Conduct SQL and PL/SQL-based database validation and data verification.

• Identify, document, track, and verify defects throughout the software development lifecycle.

• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and product managers to ensure high-quality releases.

• Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives.

• Ensure all deliverables meet business and technical requirements while maintaining quality standards.

• Support test execution for complex operational systems related to airport and airline operations.

Key Requirements:

• 3-5 years of hands-on experience in Software Quality Assurance and Testing.

• Strong understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), Software Testing Lifecycle (STLC), and Agile methodologies.

• Experience with API testing using Postman and SOAP UI.

• Working knowledge of SQL and basic PL/SQL for database testing and validation.

• Experience with defect tracking and test management practices.

• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
