2 Senior Software Engineers / Mainframe Developers

For one of our financial clients, we are looking for 2 strong mainframe developers for a Post Trade agenda focused on securities, investment, and settlement tasks.

Main Responsibilities

Core duties include collaborating on mainframe systems related tasks and ensuring optimal performance.

• Programming using COBOL and JCL.

• Manage and optimize DB2 for z/OS databases.

• CICS for transaction processing.

• Utilize IBM MQ for messaging and integration tasks.

• Conduct performance tuning and debugging of applications.

• Analyze abend and system dumps to troubleshoot issues.

• Coordination Skills: Organize and follow up on planned activities, ensure right stakeholders are involved, has the right information at the right time

• Documentation & Specification: Skilled in writing business procedures, user guides, and requirement specifications and documenting decisions made

• Personal Attributes: Curiosity & Proactivity, ability to work together with cross functional teams, customer orientation, and adaptability i.e., Comfortable navigating change and ambiguity in a dynamic environment.
