Your responsibilities

• Develop and maintain custom Python tools and desktop applications.
• Implement new functionalities and enhancements based on user requirements.
• Perform data processing and analysis using Pandas, NumPy, and Jupyter Notebook.
• Work with JSON, Excel, and CSV files to automate engineering workflows.
• Contribute to software design using object-oriented programming principles.
• Use Git/GitLab for version control and collaborative development.
• Create and maintain technical documentation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver efficient software solutions.
• Investigate and resolve issues in existing applications.
• Support testing and deployment of developed software tools.
• Collaborate on a daily basis with internal and external stakeholders within the R&D organization

Our requirements

• Good understanding of fundamental programming principles
• Good knowledge of Python
• Understanding of object-oriented programming in Python
• Experience working with Python virtual environments
• Ability to write clean, readable, and maintainable code
• Familiarity with Git version control and GitLab
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Experience working with data using Jupyter Notebook, Pandas, NumPy, and Matplotlib
• Ability to work with JSON, Excel, and CSV files
• Experience developing desktop applications in Python
• Ability to read, understand, and write technical documentation
• Good command of written and spoken English

Optional

• Knowledge of VBA
• Basic knowledge of SQL
• Familiarity with CI/CD concepts and pipelines
• Personal, academic, or open-source projects available on GitHub

SAFRAN AIRCRAFT ENGINES POLAND based in Sędziszów Małopolski is a leading leader in the aviation industry market and one of the most dynamically developing companies from the Aviation Valley. The factory, which has been operating since 2017 and employs over 300 people, produces turbine blades for the LEAP-1A and LEAP-1B engines.

In 2023, together with the French branch of Safran Aircraft Engines, a Research and Development Center was established in Rzeszów. Over 250 engineers will be employed here. In the newly established office, engineers will deal with various types of simulations relating to components of the entire aircraft engine.
