Junior Android Developer

Summary:

The Junior Android Developer role focuses on enhancing Android application development, ensuring quality assurance, and managing CI/CD processes for HMI applications on various platforms, ultimately supporting continuous operations and product delivery.

Main Responsibilities:

• Participate in daily meetings and technical alignments.

• Conduct reviews and planning sessions collaboratively.

• Communicate risks, blockers, and dependencies effectively.

• Independently manage assigned work packages.

• Escalate critical issues to designated contacts early.

• Ensure quality assurance and ongoing development of software products.

Key Requirements:

• Proven experience with Jira.

• Familiarity with Git / Bitbucket.

• Hands-on experience with Android projects and tooling (ADB, ADB shell, scrcpy).

• Experience with Jenkins.

• Understanding of Agile development processes.

• Skills in root cause analysis and ticket handling.

• Good spoken and written English communication skills.

• Self-directed work ethic and accountability.

• Ability to work within international development teams.

Nice to Have:

• Hands-on experience with Kotlin.

• Basic knowledge of Jetpack Compose and View XML.

• Experience with Android Lifecycle components.

• Basic knowledge of Kotlin Flows.

• Experience with Android Studio.

• Experience in unit testing.

• Willingness to learn existing SDK architectures and development processes.
