About the project

In cooperation with our business partner, a proprietary trading firm developing high-frequency trading strategies for power markets, we are currently seeking motivated candidates interested in becoming a member of our international team (PL, UK, NZ). Your responsibilities

• General workstation, software and hardware support
• Help desk and user support
• Software and system training for users
• Inventory audits and hardware lifecycle management
• User account management, access rights, onboarding/offboarding support
• Hardware and software procurement (research, vendor comparison, purchasing)
• Documentation update
• Research, data collection and evaluation of new technologies and AI-based tools
• Contact with software and hardware vendors

Our requirements

• A degree in Computer Science or other IT related field (final year students and graduates are welcome, too)
• Good knowledge of Windows environment
• Good command of English
• Ability to solve problems, learn fast and engage in tasks performed
• Ability to work under time pressure, meet tight deadlines and multi-task
• Strong communication, interpersonal and organizational skills

Optional

• Experience in IT and network equipment support
• Knowledge of Windows Server operating system
• Knowledge of Microsoft 365 (Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint)
• Knowledge of Linux and macOS operating systems
• Basic knowledge of cloud platforms (Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform or AWS)
• Interest in or exposure to AI tools and technologies
