Senior Backend Engineer

About the project

We are looking for an experienced Senior Backend Engineer to join our team and contribute to the design, development, and maintenance of scalable, reliable, and high-quality backend systems.

In this role, you will work primarily with .NET / C#, AWS, and microservices architecture, applying modern software engineering and DevOps practices to build robust, cloud-native applications. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, contribute to technical decisions, and help drive engineering excellence across the development lifecycle.

Your responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using .NET / C# and ASP.NET Core.
• Design and implement RESTful APIs and microservices-based applications.
• Build and maintain cloud-based solutions on AWS.
• Implement and improve CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code solutions.
• Develop and maintain containerized applications using Docker and related AWS services.
• Design, optimize, and maintain relational databases.
• Write and maintain unit and integration tests to ensure code quality and reliability.
• Participate in code reviews and promote best practices in software design, coding standards, and testing.
• Collaborate with engineers and cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.

Our requirements

• Strong proficiency in .NET / C#.
• Hands-on experience designing and developing RESTful APIs using ASP.NET Core.
• Solid experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS).
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools, such as Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.
• Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using tools such as GitHub Actions or Jenkins.
• Experience with monitoring and logging tools, such as ELK Stack, Grafana, or Prometheus.
• Practical experience with Docker and containerization best practices.
• Strong knowledge of SQL databases, such as PostgreSQL or Microsoft SQL Server.
• Proficiency in Git and GitHub, including branching strategies and code review processes.
• Experience designing and implementing microservices-based applications.
• Strong knowledge of unit and integration testing, preferably using frameworks such as xUnit.
