Applied AI Engineer

Are you a Fullstack developer curious about the world of AI? Wondering how your current skill set could open new doors in one of the fastest-growing tech fields? Here's your chance to dive into applied AI research and development - and actually shape the roadmap of multiple products across the BBM portfolio. It’s a unique opportunity to explore how diverse AI solutions can enrich real-world platforms, not just in theory, but in production - and your role will focus on integrating with AI APIs as part of a typical developer’s journey.

Our projects are always tied to the broadcast and OTT industry (online video). Implementations are based on advanced technological products, modules, or complete end-to-end solutions for companies looking to launch their own streaming platforms (like Netflix) or expand their existing online video offerings.

Why your Fullstack experience is the perfect launchpad for AI?

As someone who's built real software, you already have what it takes to thrive in AI. Here's why:

• AI is powered by data - and you're already skilled at working with databases, APIs, and data processing.

• You're a natural problem solver. That mindset is gold in AI, where experiments and edge cases are part of daily life.

• You know how to code. Your programming experience will translate easily into AI languages, and you’ll be right at home tinkering with models and workflows.

• You understand how systems fit together. Whether it's the front-end, back-end, or cloud, your holistic view is a huge advantage when building AI-powered apps.

• And when it comes to turning models into real-world tools, your experience integrating APIs and deploying cloud-based apps puts you miles ahead.

What you’ll actually be doing?

This isn’t a research lab job buried in theory. You'll be using AI tools and APIs to make real things happen:

• Building simple web apps that integrate BBM products with third-party AI SaaS tools.

• Presenting proof-of-concept results during sprint demos to internal stakeholders.

• Co-defining PoC scope and direction with the product owner.

How your time will be split?

• 60% hands-on R&D work with AI tools and APIs.

• 20% presenting results to the team and stakeholders.

• 20% refining requirements and planning next steps with the PO.

What we’re looking for?

We’re not expecting you to be an AI expert - we’ll grow that part together. But we do need someone who brings:

• At least one backend and one frontend language under your belt - preferably Python and React.

• Comfort working with cloud platforms (AWS preferred).

• Previous experience working with AI tools, APIs, or ML features.

• Independence, curiosity, and a love for solving complex problems.

• Perfect English - to read/write docs and chat with the team daily.

Bonus points if you’ve worked with .NET 6, OTT/video platforms, or speak some German.

What you’ll get in return:

• salary in the range of 12,500 - 17,500 PLN net + VAT (B2B contract)

• fully remote work with flexible working hours

• one full day per sprint for learning and development

• a choice to join MyBenefit platform (to buy a MultiSport card or other cool services)

• a choice to join our group health insurance

• access the wellbeing platform Mindgram  that helps you stay in a good mental shape

• access to the language learning platform Tutlo

• company-wide quarterly meetings (which are special, because you don’t have to work on that day)

• optional (bun fun!) team activities, like joint mountain trekking trips, St. Nicolas Day event for kids, board game nights, and more.

• a welcoming office in the very heart of Poznań, if you prefer to work on-site.
