Senior .NET Developer – Azure Cloud | Wroclaw

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Senior .NET Developer with strong Microsoft Azure expertise to join our engineering team in Wrocław.

In this role, you will design, develop, and maintain scalable, secure, and high-performance backend services and cloud-native applications. You will work extensively with C#, .NET, Azure Functions, Azure Blob Storage, and Azure Key Vault, contributing to enterprise-grade solutions that support business-critical processes and digital products.

You will collaborate with engineers, architects, and cross-functional stakeholders in an Agile environment, taking ownership of technical solutions from design and implementation through deployment and production support.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications and APIs using C# and .NET 6+.

• Build and deploy serverless applications using Azure Functions, applying appropriate patterns for asynchronous and event-driven processing.

• Develop and optimize cloud-based data processing solutions using Azure Blob Storage and Azure Storage Accounts.

• Implement secure configuration, secrets, and certificate management using Azure Key Vault.

• Design and implement integrations with Azure services, including Azure Service Bus and Azure App Services.

• Apply software engineering best practices, including clean code, SOLID principles, design patterns, code reviews, and automated testing.

• Build, maintain, and improve CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.

• Ensure application security, scalability, availability, performance, and operational reliability.

• Troubleshoot production issues, perform root-cause analysis, and implement long-term improvements.

• Contribute to technical design decisions, architecture discussions, and continuous improvement initiatives.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions in an Agile/Scrum environment.

• Share technical knowledge and contribute to a culture of engineering excellence.

Required Skills and Experience

• 7+ years of professional software development experience, with a strong focus on backend development.

• Strong hands-on experience with C#, .NET Core, and modern .NET (.NET 6 or later).

• Proven experience designing, developing, and deploying Azure Functions in production environments.

• Strong practical knowledge of Azure Storage Accounts and Blob Storage, including containers, access tiers, lifecycle management, and secure access.

• Hands-on experience with Azure Key Vault, including secrets, certificates, and access management.

• Experience integrating cloud applications with Azure Service Bus, Azure App Services, or Web Apps.

• Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, asynchronous programming, and event-driven architecture.

• Solid knowledge of object-oriented programming, SOLID principles, design patterns, and clean architecture.

• Experience implementing automated testing, code reviews, and maintainable software development practices.

• Practical experience with CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.

• Understanding of application security, authentication, authorization, and cloud security best practices.

• Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams.

• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

• Good communication skills in English.

Nice to Have

• Experience with Azure Durable Functions and long-running orchestration workflows.

• Familiarity with Azure SQL Database, Cosmos DB, or other cloud-based data platforms.

• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC), using Bicep, ARM templates, or Terraform.

• Knowledge of Azure monitoring and observability tools, such as Azure Monitor and Application Insights.

• Experience with distributed systems, messaging patterns, and resilient cloud architectures.

• Polish language skills.
